"Revista Brasileira de Estudos Urbanos e Regionais" is a publication of ANPUR, "Associação Nacional de Pós Graduação e Pesquisa em Planejamento Urbano e Regional", a non-profit private law entity, that congregates Brazilian postgraduate programs and institutions devoted to teaching and/ or research activities in the fields of urban and regional studies and urban and regional planning. RBEUR aims to be an institutional vehicle to disseminate scientific production in such fields, whilst preserving the thematic and disciplinary heterogeneity, characteristic to the Association, and stimulating diversity of thought and originality, accuracy and excellence in published texts. RBEUR's content is addressed to a multidisciplinary community of scholars, students and professionals in the fields of urban and regional studies and planning.
