Resumo Dada a crescente importância da inclusão financeira no desenvolvimento socioeconômico, este estudo busca propor um Índice de Inclusão Financeira em nível municipal para o território brasileiro, abrangendo os anos de 2016 a 2022. A análise dos dados revela que, embora tenha havido pouca mudança de 2016 a 2019, no período de 2019 a 2022 houve deterioração significativa nos níveis gerais de inclusão financeira, especialmente nas regiões Norte e Nordeste. Em 2022, a inclusão financeira mostrou-se ainda mais reduzida em todas as regiões do país. Os resultados destacam a necessidade de políticas públicas focadas na melhoria da inclusão financeira, considerando as disparidades regionais identificadas. O estudo contribui para a literatura ao oferecer uma ferramenta de medição multidimensional da inclusão financeira, considerando métricas de acesso, uso e potencial digital, em nível municipal, promovendo a compreensão das dinâmicas regionais e a formulação de políticas mais eficazes.

Abstract Given the growing importance of financial inclusion in socioeconomic development, this study aims to propose a financial inclusion index at the municipal level for the Brazilian territory, covering the years 2016 to 2022. The analysis reveals that, although there was little change from 2016 to 2019, in the period from 2019 to 2022 there was a significant deterioration in the overall levels of financial inclusion, especially in the North and Northeast regions. In 2022, financial inclusion was even more reduced in all regions of the country. The results highlight the need for public policies focused on improving financial inclusion, considering the regional disparities identified. The study contributes to the literature by offering a multidimensional measurement tool for financial inclusion, considering metrics of access, use, and digital potential, at the municipal level, promoting the understanding of regional dynamics and the formulation of more effective policies.

Resumo Esta pesquisa examina os impactos da satisfação dos professores com sua profissão e ambiente de trabalho atual no desempenho acadêmico de alunos de 15 a 16 anos na Alemanha, Brasil, Chile, Coreia do Sul, Emirados Árabes Unidos, Espanha, Estados Unidos, Portugal, Reino Unido e Taiwan. Dados do PISA de 2018 e da Função de Produção Educacional foram considerados. Os resultados mostraram que a satisfação dos professores com o ambiente de trabalho atual tem um impacto maior no desempenho educacional dos alunos do que a satisfação dos professores com sua profissão. Além disso, a análise de robustez mostrou que a satisfação dos professores tem impactos diferentes em diferentes quantis analisados.

Abstract This research examines the impacts of teachers' satisfaction with their profession and current work environment on the academic performance of 15 to 16-year-old students in Germany, Brazil, Chile, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, Portugal, United Kingdom, and Taiwan. Data from the 2018 PISA and the Education Production Function were considered. The results showed that teachers' satisfaction with the current work environment has a greater impact on students' educational performance than teachers' satisfaction with their profession. Furthermore, robustness analysis showed that teacher satisfaction has different impacts across different quantiles analyzed.
